Final Glance: Gold companies
NEW YORK (AP) — Shares of some top gold companies were down at the close of trading: Barrick Gold fell $.47 or 1.3 percent, to $36.77. Gold Fields fell $.15 or 1.2 percent, to $11.97. Goldcorp fell $.69 or 1.8 percent, to $36.67. Newmont Mining fell $1.37 or 2.8 percent, to $48.35.
