This is an industrial grade machine. It’s all metal (stainless steel). We have had the plastic products listed on Amazon. They worked fine, but every one of them had case breakage. I’m not sure why, but I would surmise that the plastic just doesn’t hold up to the sonic vibrations well. I found myself trying to glue them back together. In fact we went through three of them! That won’t happier with this baby. It also seems to clean better. Don’t waste your money on the plastic cleaners.
